The Permaculture Hui by PINZ (Permaculture Institute of NZ) will be held this year in on 4-7th April in Riverton, Southland.
Permaculture is all about working with nature rather than against it. As the PINZ website says, permaculture is a design system that mimics natures patterns and relationships to provide for local human needs.
In practice, we tend to think of permaculture as something that we do in the garden or on the land, but it can also be applied to social issues.
For today’s show I have Nandor Tanczos, President of PINZ, to chat about how he got interested in permaculture and involved with PINZ, about his interest in applying permaculture to social issues such as the economy, and what we can expect from the Permaculture Hui this year.
